After 4 majors, including art and civil engineering, I decided to combine both, with my love for baking. I attended the French Pastry School at the Cordon Bleu, in Chicago, and began working in a cake shop after graduation. Once back in my hometown of Kingston NY, I began doing elaborate cakes for friends and family, while working as the Pastry Chef at The Terrapin, in Rhinebeck.
With the need to express a more artistic approach to my baking, and 7 years of cake experience, I decided to open a Cake Shop of my own, in the most beautiful part of Kingston, the downtown Strand. Now, with waterfront views, anyone can enjoy a slice of cake after their meal, or order unique themed cakes, that give any event an enchanted touch, without traveling to NYC!
